Contract Health Services, Inc. (CHS) was founded in 1984 to provide portable
ultrasound services to providers, physicians, facilities, and most of all,
to accommodate Clientele within the Region.
CHS takes pride in our long-term leadership staff. Our staff of Sonographers/Ultrasound Techs' are Registered in multiple modalities, dedicated, caring, and compassionate in meeting the needs of our clients and clientele. In addition, our Philips CC-50 laptop ultrasound equipment is state-of-the-art quality and performance abilities, with enhancements that allow connections to multiple PAC Systems.
The patient's SHOW RATE usually increases... Testing is performed in an exam or procedure room within a Physician's office or facility.
This reduces cost, travel and anxiety to patients by not sending them to an unfamiliar outside facility-keeping the setting small.
Exams are very timely with hardly any wait time for the patient.
They do not have any Registration paperwork to complete-meaning they come/exam is done.
The patient is usually in/out within 45 minutes or less depending upon the type of exam needed.
Our Tech will provide a Technical Preliminary if a finding is seen and give feedback to the Physician at the time of the exam.
By request, we can also provide you with a disk of a study in the event you need to refer the patient to a Specialist.
The CHS Billing package comes Complete at one low cost, unlike most companies who charge for every addon such as support, disaster recovery, claim remits, etc. Our set fee is based only upon your collections, with a minimum set-up cost. CHS will bill primary, secondary, or tertiary insurance.
Typical turnaround is 24-48 hours for Radiology and Cardiology. The current turnaround from the time the exams are performed until you receive the report from both our groups can vary typically between 24-72 business hours. If the Ordering Physician or Practice wishes to interpret their own exams, we will be happy to discuss how you can implement and bill for this Professional Component
Precepts are not required for ultrasounds except for a few Insurance Companies. We will supply you with the shortlist. Having it in your office allows more time for Physician's staff to provide more patient care. The scheduling time for your staff is totally reduced. There is no wait time to schedule; it is done by your staff at your office just like scheduling the patient for a Physician's visit-quick and easy. Our Tech will gather the orders/patient info at the time we come to perform your scheduled exam. No faxes or calls are necessary to schedule exams-saving your staff time and effort!
We provide PRN Services for Hospitals/Outpatients/Physician Offices or other healthcare entities who need temporary or full-time coverage. In many cases, the facility already has equipment but needs a temporary Sonographer for backup coverage while their Technician is off---for instances such as vacation schedules, surgery, pregnancy/maternity leave, etc. This could be for a day or longer.
CHS provides Holter Monitor Devices--digital equipment only and packet kits, which include all items necessary for your staff to hook up and educate the patient on the protocols of wearing the monitor.
